Add a form to a Notion page
Add a hootform form to a Notion page with an Embed block and the form's link. It shows in the page, since Notion doesn't run scripts.
What works on Notion

Notion doesn't run scripts, so it takes the form's link as a plain frame.
Where the link goes
Notion doesn't run custom scripts, so it takes the form as a link, shown in a frame on the page.
- In your form's Share menu, open the Embed tab, choose In the page, and tick
Plain iframe, for sites that don't allow scripts. Copy the form's link from the snippet.
It ends in
?embed=1. - In Notion, type
/embedon a new line, choose Embed, and paste the link. - Drag the block's corner to make it taller, so a whole question fits.
People can fill in the form right in your Notion page, or on a public Notion site. Every answer is saved in hootform, not in Notion.
What doesn't work in Notion
Without scripts, a form can't open as a popup or a slider, and an ending that redirects moves only the frame, not the whole page. For those, link to the form instead. A plain link to the form works anywhere in Notion.
The link
Replace FORM_ID with your form's id, or copy the finished version from the
form's Share menu, on the Embed tab.

Questions people ask
Can responses go into a Notion database?
Not directly yet. Send each response to a webhook, and an automation tool can add it to a Notion database.
Why is the form cut off in Notion?
The Embed block has its own height. Drag its bottom edge to make it taller.
Does it work on a public Notion site?
It should. The embed is a plain frame, which public Notion pages show the same way.
