Why these questions

A lead form that asks everyone for a sales call wastes two people's time: the browser who didn't want one, and the rep who takes it. This template sorts serious buyers from people who are just looking, and gives each of them the right next step.

It asks for name, work email and company, then how many people work there, from just them to more than 200. Size is the fastest single signal of fit, and a range is easier to answer than a number.

What are you trying to solve? is the question sales will read first. On Premium, a vague answer ("better reporting") gets one follow-up asking for the workflow that's painful today and who it hurts. Then the rep starts the call already knowing the problem.

When would you want this working? does the sorting. Anyone who answers "Just looking for now" skips the budget and call questions and goes straight to the newsletter checkbox, through a logic rule. They aren't pushed into a sales conversation, and they stay in touch. Everyone else is asked whether there's a budget, and when suits them for a twenty-minute call. Asking for a time is what turns a form into a booked meeting.

The template records utm_source and utm_campaign as hidden fields, so every lead arrives with the campaign that found them. Send qualified leads to your CRM with a webhook, and turn on notifications so the right rep hears about them straight away.

How the logic works

Each rule is checked once its question is answered, and the first one that matches decides where the respondent goes next. How logic works

  • After “When would you want this working?”: if the answer is “Just looking for now”, jump to “Before you go”.

Questions people ask

How does the form decide who's a qualified lead?

Through the timing question. "Just looking for now" skips straight to the newsletter; any real timeline goes on to budget and a call time. You can add rules on company size too, for example to send very small companies to self-serve.

Can leads go straight into our CRM?

Yes. Point a webhook at your CRM, or at an automation tool that writes to it. Every completed response is sent as signed JSON, with the hidden fields included.

What happens if someone gives a one-word answer to the problem question?

On Premium, the form asks one short follow-up, guided by what you told it a useful answer looks like: the workflow that's painful and who it hurts. On the free plan it moves straight on.

Is the call time a real booking?

It's a requested time, stored with the lead, not a calendar booking. Confirm it with the lead, or send it to your scheduling tool with a webhook.
