Signature

For consent forms, agreements, waivers and sign-offs, where a ticked box isn't enough.

Settings

Signature has no settings of its own beyond the ones every question has. Pair it with a Consent question or a Statement that says what's being signed.

What respondents see

A signing pad with the note "Sign with your mouse or finger". Once they've drawn something, it says Signed, and Clear lets them start again. It works with touchscreens, styluses and mice.

The answer

A PNG image of the signature, named signature.png, stored the same way as a file upload.

• Responses: the signature is shown in the response drawer, and in its PDF.
• CSV, emails and webhooks: signature.png. View or download the image from the dashboard.
• Encryption: always encrypted when the form is. Never sent to an AI model.
